11 Independent Field Squadron Malaya Another Unofficial Website.  This one relates to 11 Ind Fd Sqn in Malaya but it is filled with a lot of information and worth looking at if you were or are a serving member of 11 Fd Sqn.

22 Engineer Regiment

This site is for all those who served or had association with the Regiment including families and friends, especially of those still serving.  It includes all Squadrons who served under 22 Engineer Regiment past and present.


3 Field Squadron RE Unofficial Website for 3 Fd Sqn.  This site has a lot of information regarding the Sqn and it's history including those that have served in it.  Worth a look.

33 Engineer Regiment EOD Another Unofficial Wbsite.  This one is especially popular by me as I served time with 33 back in 1987 - 1991.  Loads of information and messages from previous members of the Regiment.

412 Tp Amphibious Engineers (V) This is a personal site belonging to Keith Dodds and his time with 412 Amphibious Engineer Troop (V).

51 Field Squadron RE

The web site that is intended to bring together the members of 51 Field Squadron who served between the years of 1965 and 1972. That is not to say that members of 51 Squadron from other eras are not welcome but the Squadron has under gone many changes and these are the years that the creator of this site can speak of with some authority.

This is the home of Armed Forces Friends, the totally FREE site dedicated to helping ex-service or serving personnel in the British Armed Forces to regain contact with old friends.

Army Apprentices College Chepstow This is the website for the Army Apprentices College at Chepstow and it has now incorporated the Beachley Old Boys Association (BOBA).

British Limless Ex Service Men's Association To promote the welfare of all those of either sex who have lost a limb or limbs, or one or both eyes, or the use of limbs as a result of service in any branch of Her Majesty's Forces or Auxiliary Forces and to assist needy dependants of such service limbless.

British Nuclear Test Veterans Association

Between 1952 and 1967 the United Kingdom carried out a number of atmospheric tests of nuclear weapons in the Pacific Ocean and at Maralinga, Australia, involving over 20,000 servicemen. Among these tests were the “Grapple Y” and “Grapple Z” series of six detonations at Christmas Island in the Pacific Ocean (November 1957–September 1958), of weapons many times more powerful than those discharged at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

This is a usefull site for those personnel leaving or that have left the forces.

It has been created by an ex-serving soldier that was Medically Discharged after he was injured in a bomb blast in Ireland and discharged without a by-or-leave.  He found it hard to find relevant information regarding Forces Pensions and this site was created to assist other people to find this hard to find information.

The site also contains other usefull information and a forum and is well worth a visit.

The Officers Associaion

The Officers'Association is a charity dedicated to assisting officers who have retired or are about to retire from Her Majesty's Armed Forces. The Association was founded in 1919 and received the Royal Charter in 1921.

The South Atlantic Medal Association (1982) The South Atlantic Medal (1982) is the official name of the medal awarded to almost 30,000 service men and women - and civilians - who took part in the campaign to free the Falkland Islands. SAMA(82) is their Association.

UK Forces Gulf Fund In response to public demand, The UK Forces Gulf Fund was established as the official charity for Forces in the Gulf. Three of the key Armed Forces charities (The King George’s Fund for Sailors, the Army Benevolent Fund, and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund which, between them, work with almost every other service charity in the country, including The Royal British Legion and SSAFA - Forces Help) established the Fund drawing on experience gained in earlier conflicts.

The WWA also represents those who have suffered the loss of their husband in peacetime, when his death was attributable to his service life.
